In the phases of the journey

In this phase of my journey, the depth of affection, the duration of our companionship, and the shared encounters we have undergone no longer hold sway. Should your conduct evoke discomfort within me, I am choosing to depart from our association with grace.

I have come to the realization that attempting to alter someone's essence is futile, and it is not my desire to do so. My heightened awareness of human behavior has prompted me to reevaluate where I invest my emotional resources. It has become evident that individuals are inclined to act in accordance with their own will, irrespective of the counsel, sentiments, or viewpoints of others.

It is discernible that some individuals only acknowledge the impact of one's presence once their convenience is compromised.
